Swell Spark is the parent company of interactive entertainment brands, including Breakout KC / Breakout Waikiki escape rooms; Blade & Timber axe throwing; and a new indoor mini golf cocktail bar, Sinkers Lounge. Swell Spark identifies high-growth entertainment concepts and builds sustainable brands.
Headquartered in Kansas City, Swell Spark has continued to build its position as a leaders in “small box” entertainment since 2015.

BLADE & TIMBER
Swell Spark opened the first Blade & Timber axe throwing location in late 2017. Today, Swell Spark operates six different locations in five states across the nation with more locations opening soon! Known for best-in-class customer service and a safety-first mentality, Blade & Timber has set industry standards since its beginning.
BREAKOUT KC / BREAKOUT WAIKIKI
Foundational to Swell Spark’s growth, our escape room brands first opened in 2015. Today, the award-winning escape rooms are located in three states, including Hawaii. The 60-minute adventures feature some of the most noteworthy puzzles and custom-fabricated props in the industry, designed by our in-house fabrication team, Sandbox by Swell Spark.
Sinkers Lounge
New in 2022, Sinkers Lounge is a full-service indoor mini golf cocktail bar. The concept features incredible drinks, food, nine mini golf holes and nine Tabletop Golf holes – a mashup of mini golf and billiards. With its first location in Kansas City, Sinkers Lounge has plans for rapid growth beginning in 2022 and beyond.
