Store Manager: Additional Criteria
Management is critical to company success! Please evaluate your direct report on the following, if they are a store manager.
Attends meetings on time and contributes regularly. Completes administrative tasks, including cash management, on time and accurately.
Employees are supported by the Manager with intentional training and communication. Employee issues and concerns are addressed timely and fairly. Manager helps employees understand the big-picture and explains the “why.”
Store rarely, if ever, receives a 3-store or less review. Manager monitors reviews and responds promptly and professionally. Negative reviews are tracked and issues from reviews are addressed through changes in store operations.
Manager demonstrates proficiency in planning weekly schedules, anticipating sales and making cuts to meet labor goals, as established by direct supervisor.
Store aligns with brand standards thanks to Manager’s enforcement of cleaning lists, daily operations and maintenance needs. Maintenance requests are clearly communicated and addressed by the Manager.
Manager follows company policy and enforces policies as a Swell Spark leader. Company goals and direction are communicated to staff and demonstrated to guests. Any issues with company policies are communicated and addressed to ensure company alignment.
